Surf with Perfect Wave
Lazy Left is one of Sri Lanka's best-known surf breaks, and it has brought surfers from all over the world to Midigama for many years. Our surf school, opening soon and run by the surf operator Perfect Wave, will offer lessons and packages throughout the season.
Coaching, guiding and board hire will be booked with Perfect Wave: they hold the live availability, set the rates, take payment, handle waivers and run the sessions. Questions on boards, levels and conditions go to them too.

Midigama, between Weligama and Ahangama
Lazy Left is a long, forgiving left over reef, and on smaller, cleaner days it suits surfers from their first green waves upwards. When the swell picks up it is a different wave, faster and with more water moving, and beginners are better served on a beach break nearby. Perfect Wave reads the conditions and decides where a session goes.
A room and the surf, arranged together
Surf and Stay, and any combined package, is arranged by Surf Club Midigama as an enquiry. Tell us your dates and your level, and we will put it together with Perfect Wave and come back to you by email.
